An atelier is a workshop — a place where things are drawn by hand and made with care. We bring that sensibility to the land itself. Because we both §design and §build, nothing is lost between the §drawing and the §ground.

Our own crews carry the drawing into the ground — layered planting, lawns and meadows, orchards and kitchen gardens, installed with a maker's patience.

The Land Atelier is run by a husband-and-wife team — one practice spanning the drawing board and the build site. That closeness is the point: the person who sketches your garden is never far from the person setting its stone.
Based in Granville and serving Central Ohio, we take on a limited number of commissions each year so that every property receives the studio's full attention.
